Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State School Kalolsavam has gone digital this year, with all competition processes handled online. The portal facilitates registration, result announcements, certificate printing, and other competition-related processes.

This portal also manages the preparation of time sheets, call sheets, score sheets, and tabulations for each competition stage and handles appeal procedures.

KITE, the technical agency of the Kerala General Education Department, has launched advanced tools, including a mobile app, to make the festival more efficient.

To enhance credibility, certificates now feature QR codes for authenticity verification and are accessible via DigiLocker. The Education Minister unveiled the KITE Ulsavam app on Friday, which provides real-time updates on competition results, digital route maps for venue navigation, and details of festival offices.

Additionally, creative works from the competitions will be published on SchoolWiki after the results are declared. The platform already houses creative submissions from school festivals dating back to 2016. With these high-tech innovations, the Kalolsavam aims to ensure transparency, efficiency, and accessibility, setting a new benchmark for the festival.
