CBSE Class 12 results 2025 declared, 88.39% pass | How to check

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 board examination results for 2025. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwa made the announcement on Tuesday.
Over 42 lakh students appeared for the board exams held between February 15 and April 4. A total of 88.39% of students passed the board exams this year, marking a 0.41 percentage point increase from last year. Girls outperformed boys by over 5.94 percentage points, with more than 91% of female students clearing the exams.
Over 1.15 lakh students scored above 90 per cent marks, while more than 24,000 candidates secured above 95 per cent. Meanwhile, over 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.

Students will be able to access their CBSE Class 10 and 12 marksheets on the following official websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in
Additionally, results will also be available on the DigiLocker and UMANG apps.
Steps to check CBSE 10th and 12th Results 2025
Follow these steps to download your scorecard:
- Visit results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the link for “CBSE 10th Result 2025” or “CBSE 12th Result 2025”
- Enter your roll number, date of birth, and the security pin
- Click “Submit” to view your results
- Download the provisional marksheet and take a printout for future reference
How to check result on DigiLocker?
- Visit the DigiLocker portal: cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
- Click on the "Digital Documents" tab.
- Once the results are announced, click on the link for the CBSE Class 10 marksheet.
- Enter your roll number and other login credentials to access your digital marksheet.
