The results of the Higher Secondary (DHSE) and Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) examinations in Kerala were announced on Thursday by General Education Minister V Sivankutty.

The pass percentage for the Higher Secondary exam stood at 77.81%, slightly lower than last year’s 78.69%. A total of 30,145 students secured A+ in all subjects this year, compared to 39,242 in 2024. The number of students who scored full marks (1200) dropped to 41 from 105 last year.

Out of the 3,70,642 students who appeared in the regular stream, 2,88,394 qualified for higher education. Sixty schools achieved a 100% pass rate, including six government schools. However, 46 schools recorded a pass percentage of less than 30%.

Ernakulam district registered the highest success rate, while Kasaragod had the lowest.
The Save A Year (SAY) exam will be conducted from June 23 to 27.

In the VHSE stream, the pass percentage was 70.6%. Of the 26,178 students who wrote the exam, 18,340 qualified for higher studies.
A total of 4,44,807 students had registered for the Plus Two examinations this year. For evaluation, 89 DHSE camps and eight VHSE camps were set up across the state.
