V M Rajasekhar is new Director of MASCOM

Senior journalist and former Managing Editor of Frontline magazine V M Rajasekhar has taken charge as the new Director of Manorama School of Communication (MASCOM), Kottayam.
Rajasekhar learned the rudiments of journalism at The Hindu newspaper in Chennai (1986) before an eight-year stint with the Malayala Manorama Group’s The Week magazine.
He retired from The Hindu Group’s Frontline in 2024.
His wife, Sandhya, is a retired professor and former head of journalism department in MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai.
MASCOM’s 10-month Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism offers expert training in digital, broadcast and print journalism, with the option to specialise in either English or Malayalam.
