Kalidas to be seen with Javed Jaffery in 'Happy Singh'

There has been no looking back for the young heartthrob Kalidas Jayaram after he returned to big screen as the lead in 'Poomaram'.

Kalidas has now bagged his next film which is titled 'Happy Singh'. What makes the film all more interesting is that the budding star will be sharing screen space with Bollywood actor and dancer Javed Jaffrey.

Touted to be a romantic drama, 'Happy Singh' will tell the story of a Sikh youth falling in love with a girl belonging to another community.

Written and directed by Sudeep and Geethika, Happy Singh also has Siddique, Sreenath Bhasi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shanti Krishna and Balu Varghese in supporting roles.

Well, this is not the first time that Jaffrey is acting in a Malayalam film. He was last seen in the 2015 Prithviraj-starrer 'Picket 43'.

Currently, Kalidas is awaiting for the release of 'Mr and Mrs and Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu'. He is also part of ace cinematographer and director Santosh Sivan's film titled 'Jack and Jill'.
