Vijay wins hearts as he waits his turn at polling booth

Popular Tamil actor Vijay is fondly called as the 'Thalapathy' (Commander) in Kollywood.

Even though the moniker may resonate valor and power, Vijay's recent video is now doing rounds on social media for an exactly opposite reason; his humility and patience. Well, who said a commander can't be humble, and Vijay exactly proves this.

The actor was spotted at a polling booth in Ambattur area, on the outskirts of Chennai, where he had come to cast his vote for the Lok Sabha elections. Even though the queue was long and the officers at duty informed him of arrangements to vote without standing in queue, Vijay did not agree. He waited for his turn and also talked to people near him as he waited.

Even when people flocked to him for selfies, Vijay was composed and gracefully granted his fans their wish.

Vijay however did not respond to the media after he cast his vote.

Vijay's recent release 'Sarkar' was set on the theme of elections and discussed the issue of voter impersonation. Vijay is currently shooting for Director Atlee's film titled 'Thalapathy 63'.
