The trailer of the Karthik Subbaraj directorial 'Mahaan' starring Vikram and Dhruv Vikram showcases slices of a tantalising storyline.

The story unravels different and contrasting shades of the character donned by Vikram in the movie.

The makers earlier released the song, 'Pona Povura' featuring a few crew members of the movie shaking a leg to a folk tune sung by Gaana Muthu and Asal Kolaar and composed by music director Sathosh Narayanan.

The film has Bobby Simha and Simran playing pivotal roles. The movie will premiere on Prime Video and apart from Tamil, it will be available in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The movie is titled 'Maha Purusha' in Kannada.

'Mahaan' tracks the life of a man who departs from the righteous path of Mahatma Gandhi in the quest for personal freedom and the dream to become rich.
