Selvamani Selvaraj’s 'Kaantha' is now gearing up for its OTT release after completing its theatrical run. The film, fronted by Dulquer Salmaan along with Bhagyashri Borse, Samuthirakani and Rana Daggubati, unfolds in a stylish retro setting while digging into a far more personal battle.

At its core, 'Kaantha' follows the uneasy push-and-pull between superstar TK Mahadevan (Dulquer) and filmmaker Ayya (Samuthirakani). Their history is layered with admiration and ego, a rivalry that never explodes outright but keeps simmering beneath every interaction, as if both men are waiting for the other to blink first.

Netflix announced on Monday that the film will begin streaming from December 12 in multiple languages. 'Kaantha' has been produced under Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films by Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan.
