Tamil superstar Vijay, who is preparing for his final acting role in the upcoming film ‘Jana Nayagan,’ was swarmed by fans upon his arrival at Chennai airport. The actor had just returned from Malaysia, where he participated at the film's audio launch and was making his way back to Chennai when a massive crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of their beloved star. Despite the presence of bodyguards, Vijay struggled to navigate through the sea of admirers as he headed toward his car.

In the chaos, Vijay tripped and fell just moments before reaching his car, with the crowd pressing in around him. Security personnel rushed to assist him, lifting him to his feet and ensuring he safely entered the vehicle. His co-star Mamitha Baiju too was caught between the mob. While visuals from the scene showed a car in his convoy involved in a minor mishap on the airport premises, officials declined to comment on the incident, according to PTI.

Vijay, who founded the political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam last year, had earlier announced that he would retire from acting to focus on politics for the remainder of his career. This news left many fans disheartened, with several turning to social media to share videos of the actor’s final dance at the movie promo event in Malaysia, marking an emotional farewell to his acting journey.
