Indian rapper Hanumankind is stepping into Tamil cinema with a major debut, and it’s for none other than Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, 'Jana Nayagan'. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film marks Vijay’s last on-screen role before he transitions full-time into politics, making it one of the most anticipated releases in recent memory.

Hanumankind has collaborated with music director Anirudh Ravichander for a power-packed rap track in the film. Speaking to Ananda Vikatan, the rapper shared, “I’ve delivered a great rap number for Thalapathy Vijay in 'Jana Nayagan', composed by Anirudh.”

Though this marks his Tamil film debut, Hanumankind is no stranger to the big screen. His earlier works include 'Maadeva' from the Kannada action film 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' and 'The Last Dance' from Fahadh Faasil’s Malayalam hit 'Aavesham'.

'Jana Nayagan' is slated for a grand release on January 9, 2026, perfectly timed with Pongal. With Vijay’s farewell performance and a dynamic soundtrack taking shape, the film is shaping up to be a milestone in Tamil cinema.
