The makers of director Dhananjay Shankar’s action entertainer ‘Bha Bha Ba’—an acronym for Bhayam, Bhakthi, Bahumanam—have released the film’s first song, which has been drawing mixed reactions from the public. The film stars Dileep, Mohanlal, and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead.

While Mohanlal’s and Dileep’s dance moves have found some appreciation, a section of netizens has criticised the song’s lyrics, penned by Vinayak Sasikumar, and its music, composed by Shaan Rahman. The track has been sung by MG Sreekumar, Vineeth Sreenivasan, and Niranj Suresh. “This song is enough to bring down the hype, if there is any, for the movie. It can be used as the next election song,” wrote one user. “The quality of the song is poor. Vinayak Sasikumar used to do so much better," commented another.

Sharing the link to the lyrical video on his X timeline, Mohanlal wrote:“Azhinjattam lyrical video out now! A Shaan Rahman Musical. BhaBhaBa in cinemas worldwide from 18th December 2025.”

Despite the mixed response to the song, ‘Bha Bha Bha’ has generated considerable buzz following the recent release of its trailer. Notably, the trailer arrived just days after a court cleared actor Dileep of all charges in the actress assault case that had rocked Kerala.

The trailer opens with Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character inserting an audio cassette into a tape recorder, from which a voice says, “You must have figured out who I am by now because my face has been put up in every nook and corner of this state.” The scene then introduces Dileep’s character, who is later heard declaring, “This was the moment I was waiting for — my comeback moment.”

However, the trailer has also sparked criticism, with some viewers questioning Mohanlal’s decision to appear in an extended cameo, especially given that ‘Bha Bha Ba’ marks Dileep’s first theatrical release following his acquittal.
