Mini submitted the petition seeking contempt of court proceedings against Honey Varghese after the trial court judge had made derisive remarks against her.
The judge allegedly criticised Mini's courtroom presence and case management, leading to the complaint at the High Court.
The Judge enquired about Mini and then went on to say that Mini was lax in conducting the case and was seldom present in the court during the trial.
Justice A Badharudeen posted the matter for next month when the appeal filed by Martin Antony, the second accused in the case, came up for consideration.
The appellant has also claimed that the trial court failed to properly consider defence evidence and written submissions.
Condemning those who circulate such narratives, she said she would not wish such a situation on anyone, including those making or amplifying the allegations.
Apart from Saleem and Pradeep, the trial court found Pulsar Suni, Martin Antony, Manikandan B and Vijeesh V P guilty and sentenced them to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.
Although the prosecution contended that the passport should not be returned as an appeal may be filed, the court accepted the defense counsel's argument.
