Actor Tovino Thomas recently tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Lidiya. After being part of 'ABCD', 'Koothara' and other movies, he seems to be on the lookout for more such engrossing characters. When asked how good a cook he is, shifting focus from camera to kitchen, Tovino said, "I do cook often. I give the credits to my mother for teaching me the magic of cooking. I understood how much I missed the way she cooked, when I had to leave for my higher studies”. But he wasn't one to give up on cooking. “Apart from completing my course, I also improved my cooking skills”, the actor said. “During days of festivals, my family enjoys cooking at home and spending time together. Some of the best memories are associated with that, especially during Christmas, Onam, and Easter,” he exclaims, adding that it is fun to enjoy some of the simplest pleasures of life that make our life worth cherishing. When asked about his favourite food, he said that his answer might resemble a menu card from a restaurant! He went on to say, “I love a variety of dishes that are prepared with chicken, and the list is endless. However, since I am committed to the roles I handle at present, I tend to the healthy side of the menu and stick to grilled chicken at the moment”. When asked what he would cook for his wife this Women's Day, he said, “This Women's Day, I'll be in United States and she'll be in India. But if we were celebrating the day, I would have liked to cook all the dishes with her and would have also aimed for a special surprise—a chocolate brownie—prepared for her as a token of my love for her support that makes me feel really special,” said the adoring husband in him. If only, husbands reading this thought of chocolate brownies more often!
