Priyanka Chopra opens restaurant in New York, here's a first look inside 'Sona'

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is getting into the game of restaurants with her newly opened 'Sona' in New York. The fine-dining restaurant, serving Indian food, was opened by Priyanka in collaboration with her friend and restaurateur Maneesh Goyal.

Located in Gramercy, Sona will serve some exquisite Indian food led by the head chef Hari Nayak. The menu includes Kerala rice, Goan fish curry, Kulcha, Appam, Kofta Korma, Chili Cheese Naan, and other authentic Indian dishes.

With a mix of gold, white and black colours, the décor of 'Sona' is more of a contemporary style embodying “timeless India”.

“From the design to the menu, to the music, to even the name, Priyanka has her fingerprints all over SONA,” said Maneesh Goyal in his Instagram post.

Before the opening, the team also held a pooja ceremony. Manesh and Priyanka had plans to open the restaurant in the Summer of 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
