Prawns batter fry - a crispy treat for your Easter feast

Follow this this easy prawns batter fry recipe to make the crunchiest starter for your Easter feast. Coated in a light and crispy batter, they are loaded with the goodness of soft, succulent prawns inside. For marination
500 gm cleaned prawns,
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp lime juice
For batter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornflour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp salt

Ad salt, pepper powder and lime juice to prawns
Mix well using hands
Set aside for 10 minutes
Mix all the ingredients for the batter in a bowl
Add chilled soda at regular intervals and mix till the batter reaches a smooth consistency
Beat the batter using a hand blender until it is free of lumps
Heat oil in a pan
Dip the prawns in the batter
Fry till they turn light red
Serve hot with a dip
