Ingredients
¾ cup grated coconut
½ cup pottu kadala (dried split grams)
3 green chillies
1.5 inches piece of ginger
2 cloves garlic
1 small cup coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
¼ tsp asafoetida
1 dried chilli
Salt as required
Curry leaves
Preparation
Grind the grated coconut, dried split grams, green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves with some salt and little bit water
Transfer this paste into another vessel
Add required amount of water to loosen the chutney paste
Mix well
Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds
Sauté the dried chilli and curry leaves
Add asafoetida as well
Add this tempering into the chutney
Mix well.
