Easy cauliflower kurma

Creamy cauliflower kurma is a delicious dish that tastes best with chapathi, puri or appam. It is incredibly easy to prepare. Check out this simple recipe for cauliflower kurma.

Ingredients
1 cauliflower
1 cup grated coconut
1 piece ginger
1 clove garlic
2 onions (chopped)
1 tomato
1 tsp chilli powder
A pinch of garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
4 green chillies
A pinch of cumin
2 sprigs of curry leaves
Salt as required
Coconut oil as required

Preparation
Grind the coconut and cumin into paste
Make tomato puree and keep aside
Marinate the cauliflower florets with salt and pepper and boil them
Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker and sauté the ginger-garlic paste
Add the onions, green chillies, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder
Sauté until the raw smell of the powders are gone
Taste for seasoning
Now add the tomato puree
Add the cooked cauliflower as well
Mix well
Finally add the coconut-cumin paste
Give everything a good mix
Cook for two minutes with the lid on.
