Steak with red wine sauce for dinner

How about some steak? Steak often graces the tables in grilled, fried or broiled versions. Rich in protein, steak is something to relish slowly and surely.

Ingredients
1 beef tenderloin
500 ml red wine
1 cup carrots
1 cup white onion
1 tbsp sugar
100 ml beef stock
Flour
Butter
Pepper powder
1 tbsp salt
1 garlic clove
Oil as required

Preparation
Cut beef tenderloin into a rectangular piece, wrap it in a polythene sheet and freeze it for five hours
Heat a pan and put in the carrots, onions and celery
Add 1 tbsp of sugar to this
Pour in the red wine and beef stock
Add the flour, butter, salt and pepper; mix them well and take off the flame
The sauce has to be strained out from this mix
Keep the sauce aside
Take the beef out and cut them into three small pieces
Mix the pieces well with salt, pepper powder, crushed garlic and oil
Fry until the meat pieces are well cooked
Pour the wine sauce over the steak before serving.
