Beef cooked with onions and coconut, flavoured with cashew paste and garnished with coriander leaves.
Ingredients
½ kg beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped fine
1 small piece of ginger
For the gravy
Enough oil
2 onions
3 cloves garlic
7 green chillies
1 small piece ginger
Coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder to taste
Meat masala to taste
Salt to taste
¼ coconut, scraped
1 tsp poppy seeds
4 cashew nuts
Coriander leaves for garnishing
