Caffe Americano is nothing but espresso with added hot water instead of milk. As the name depicts, it is a favorite of Americans and something that is inevitable for a breakfast buffet table. Although you can easily make them the traditional way, using an espresso machine would give it a feel of perfection. It is best to make the main ingredients, an espresso shot, with a standard coffee machine.

Ingredients
½ cup espresso coffee
½ cup water
2-3 sugar cubes

Preparation
Boil the water and pour it into a cup or microwave the cup with water in it
Pour the espresso shot into the mug in 1:1 ratio
Add sugar for taste and serve hot
