Turkish coffee is a hard-black coffee prepared by boiling finely ground coffee powder over and over. Turkish coffee is usually made in an ibrik or a cezve, a glass shaped saucepan used exclusively to make coffee. You can also make it in a saucepan. Serve them in copper or porcelain cups adorned with floral designs to give it an ethnic feel.

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 tbsp finely ground coffee powder
1 pinch cardamom powder
Sugar as required

Preparation
Dilute sugar in the water and boil it
Remove from the stove and add coffee powder and cardamom to the saucepan
Boil it again till the coffee foams
Remove from the stove for a while
Again heat it till the coffee foams and then turn off the stove
Pour into coffee cups and set aside for the excess coffee powder to settle to the bottom of the cup
