Butter garlic rice

Winter is here. It's time to curl up under a cosy blanket with a bowl of your favorite comfort food. And it doesn't always have to be cheeseburgers and puff pastry. You can go for some desi alternatives like this rich and creamy rice recipe. Ideal to be serve with some spicy side dish or chicken rich with barbecue sauce, this butter garlic rice would be one of the easiest choices to bring some warmth.

Ingredients
2 cups of basmati rice
4 tbsp oil
1/4 cup garlic sliced
100 gm butter
Salt as required

Preparation
Soak the rice for half an hour
Fry the sliced garlic in oil
Cook and drain the rice
Add butter and fried garlic slices to it and mix well
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
