This Mother's Day, make chocolate chip cookies with your kid

Have you ever tried to get your kids involved in cooking? This Mother's Day on May 12, teach some of the easiest recipes for your kid. Your kids can help you out in the kitchen no matter how old they are. Just tell them how easy it is to make their tummy happy. Just a bit of effort from your side and teach those cooking skills that could save some money later in their life. Here is a recipe of chocolate chip cookies any kid would love.

Ingredients

2 ¼ cups flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted softened butter
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Preparation
Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and keep it aside
Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla essence until creamy
Add eggs one at a time
Beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture
Stir in chocolate mixture
Preheat oven to 175 degrees
Bake for 10 to 12 minute.
