Basheer Bashi's beef sukka is super hit

Basheer Bashi, who grabbed attention through his stint in the mini screen, has tried his hands in cooking as well. The model-actor and his wives Suhana and Mashura often post cooking videos on their social media pages that are liked by hundreds of their fans. In the latest video, Mashura prepares delicious beef sukka which is an extremely popular dish in Kasaragod and Mangaluru. Unlike other beef dishes, beef sukka has grated coconut in it. Basheer and Suhana, who enjoyed Mashura’s beef sukka said that the dish tastes amazing with soft rice pathiri. Here is the recipe of Mangaluru special beef sukka.

Ingredients
500 gms beef (cut into small pieces)
Coconut oil as required
Salt as required
½ tbsp turmeric powder
Black pepper powder as per taste
1 ½ tbsp meat masala
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
12 dried chillies (Dry roasted and powdered)
6 green chillies
3 onions
7 garlic cloves
Coriander leaves as required
Curry leaves as required
Tomato chilli sauce (optional)
Soy sauce (optional)
1 coconut (grated)
Ghee

Preparation
Wash the beef pieces and drain
Cook it in the pressure cooker with some turmeric powder, salt, and water
Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté curry leaves and onions
Into it add green chillies and garlic. Sauté
Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, meat masala and powdered dried chillies
Pour some water and mix everything well together
Sauté until the raw smell of the masala powders are gone
Add the ginger - garlic paste
Add the tomato chilli sauce and soy sauce if required
Into it add the already cooked beef pieces and mix well
Cook and roast until the water evaporates and the dish is dry
Heat ghee in another pan
Fry the grated coconut until nice and golden
Mix this fried coconut into the beef sukka.
