This fragrant rice dish has dollops of butter in it and makes a great combination with vegetarian or non vegetarian curries. Here is how you could easily make tasty and fragrant butter garlic rice.
2 cups basmati rice
Oil as required
¼ cup garlic (thinly sliced)
100 gm butter
Salt as required
Soak the rice for at least half an hour
Heat oil in a pan and fry the garlic to crisp
Cook the soaked rice with butter and fried garlic by stirring lightly
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
