Snack it up with hot tea and cabbage pakoda

Set the pot for tea and go for cabbage pakoda. All you need is five minutes to get the snack ready.

1 cup chopped cabbage
½ teaspoon powdered turmeric
¾ teaspoon powdered red chilly
¼ teaspoon powdered jeera/ayamodakham (ajwain)
2 teaspoon powdered Bengal gram
3 teaspoon water

Cut cabbage layers into long, thin strips.
Add salt, powdered red chilly, turmeric, jeera and Bengal gram and mix well with the cabbage.
Add the water and coat the cabbage well with the masala.
Heat the oil and deep fry the cabbage.
Serve with hot tea.
