Eggless lime cake

Homemade lime cakes are popular around the world and are often served with tea. They are sweet, slightly tangy, and have a melt-in-the-mouth consistency. Check out this easy recipe for eggless lime cakes.

1 cup milk
Juice of 2 limes
½ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp lime zest
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt

Add lemon juice into the milk and keep it aside for 10 minutes
After 15 minutes, add vegetable oil, powdered sugar and lime zest
Mix well
Into it add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
Fold them well into soft batter
Pour this batter into a greased baking tin
Bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated for 180 degree Celsius
To prepare the glaze, mix ½ cup icing sugar in juice of one lime
Pour this glaze on the cake and spread evenly
Pop the cake in the fridge to set the glaze.
