Carrot is a very versatile ingredient that can be enjoyed as a savoury or a sweet dish. Check out the recipe of the delicious carrot kheer (dessert) that is incredibly easier to make.
½ litre milk
½ cup carrot (finely grated)
200 gms condensed milk
2 tbsp custard powder
2 tbsp almonds (chopped)
Boil the milk and add the carrot in it
Cook the carrot for at least 10 minutes
Into it add the condensed milk and mix well
In a bowl, mix the custard powder with some milk
Add this custard mix into the boiled carrot mix
Mix well so that lumps aren€™t formed
Turn off the flame when the kheer thickens up
Add the chopped almonds as well
This carrot kheer could be enjoyed hot or cold.
