Neyyappam is an iconic tea-time snack that is delicious and filling. Try out this recipe of neyyappam which is made with wheat flour.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups wheat flour
½ cup semolina
250 gms jaggery
2 tbsp grated coconut/ shards
¼ tsp cardamom powder
¼ cup of water
Salt as required

Preparation
Mix the wheat flour, semolina, jaggery syrup and some water into a batter
Keep it aside for 8-10 hours
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the grated coconut until golden in colour
Add this into the batter
Add cardamom powder and salt as well
Now pour ¼ cup water
Mix into a smooth batter
Heat oil in a pan or vessel
Pour a spoon full of batter into the hot oil
Fry the neyyapam on low flame
Flip and cook until both sides are nice and brown.
