Oats puttu is a healthy and filling breakfast dish for diabetic patients and those who have cholesterol. You could also try to enjoy this recipe in case you are trying to lose weight. Here is the recipe.
2 cups oats
Salt as required
Water as required
2 carrots (grated)
Dry roast the oats in a thick bottomed pan for at least 5 minutes on low flame
Grind this into a fine powder and add salt as required
Now mix it into puttu powder by sprinkling water
Keep it aside for 10 minutes before mixing the puttu powder in a blender jar
This makes the puttu extra soft
Put some grated carrot into the puttu steamer and then the puttu powder
Steam for some time.
