Wheat chocolate glazed cake

This chocolate glazed cake made with wheat flour is super moist and tasty. Here is the recipe of wheat chocolate cake that could be the centrepiece for your elaborate Christmas lunch.

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup wheat flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 eggs
50 gms butter / 1/3 cup refined oil
1/3 cup milk

For the chocolate glaze

¼ cup sugar

2 tbsp cocoa powder

½ cup water

Preparation
Sift the wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a bowl of sugar
Mix well
Into it add the egg yolks, vanilla essence, softened butter and milk
Fold well
Grease a cake tin with butter and then place a sheet of butter paper in it
Preheat a non-stick pan on medium flame
Beat the egg whites until it turns soft and fluffy
Add the beaten egg whites into the batter and fold well
Pour the batter into the greased cake tin and tap to release the air bubbles
Place a steel ring in the preheated pan 
Now place the cake tin on the ring
Bake for 50-60 minutes with the lid on (it could take up to 1 ½ hours)
Turn off the flame and keep the cake aside
Take out the cake from the tin after it has cooled down
To make the chocolate glaze, mix the sugar, cocoa powder and water
Heat the mixture on low flame until the glaze thickens up
Flip the cake and pour the chocolate glaze on the cake
After 2 minutes, decorate the cake by drizzling melted white chocolate
