Instant oats-egg dosa

Oats dishes are perfect for those who have cholesterol and high blood pressure. These dishes could also be included in your diet in case you are trying to shed a few kilos. As oats do not have any protein content, they are mostly cooked by adding milk. Oats dosa that has the goodness of protein-rich egg whites and veggies that contain minerals would make for a healthy and filling breakfast. Here is the easy recipe of oats-egg dosa.

1 cup oats
1 cup water
2 eggs
¼ tsp pepper powder
2 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp grated carrot (you could use veggies of your choice)
Salt as required

Powder the oatmeal in a mixer jar
Pour water and mix into a smooth batter without any lumps
Keep this batter aside for at least 10 minutes
Meanwhile, break the eggs into a bowl and separate the yolks
Season the egg whites with salt and pepper
Beat well
Into the batter add chopped onions, coriander leaves, tomatoes and carrot
Add the beaten egg whites too
Mix well
Pour a ladle full of batter on a hot greased pan
Make dosas by flipping them
Enjoy oats-egg dosa as they are or with spicy chutneys.
