Delicious dum aloo is loaded with flavours and tastes amazing with soft chapathi or roti. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients
1 kg small potatoes
1 cup yoghurt
8 red chillies
1 tsp dried ginger powder
Salt as required
1 tsp asafoetida powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp fennel powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp kasuri methi or dried fenugreek leaves

Preparation
Boil the potatoes and fry them
Take yoghurt in a bowl
Soak the red chillies in hot water and then grind them
Add the red chilli paste into the yoghurt
Now add dried ginger powder and salt
Mix well
Heat oil in a pan
Add asafoetida powder, coriander powder, fennel powder and chilli powder
Pour some water too
Into it add the yoghurt - chilli mixture
Now add the fried potatoes
Mix well
Add dried fenugreek leaves
Cook for 5 minutes with the lid on
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
