Tasty chickpea pulav is a healthy and filling meal that could be prepared in a jiffy. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups boiled basmati rice
½ cup boiled chickpea
1 ½ tsp oil/ghee
½ tsp cumin
23 cardamom pods
3 cloves
2 green chillies
½ tsp crushed ginger
1 onion
1 tomato
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 ½ tsp chana masala/ garam masala
Salt as required
Coriander leaves (chopped)

Preparation
Heat oil / ghee in a pan
Roast the cumin, cloves and cardamom pods
Sauté green chillies and onion until brown in colour
Add tomato, Kashmiri chilli powder and garam masala
Sauté well
Into it add the boiled chickpeas and basmati rice
Add salt as required
Mix well
Close the lid and cook for three more minutes
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
