Crispy wheat dosa with potato masala

Crispy and tasty dosa could be easily made using wheat and semolina. This easy potato masala is the best addition to make it a filling breakfast. Here is the recipe.


For dosa

1 cup wheat powder
¼ cup semolina
2 tbsp rice flour
½ cup yoghurt
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp baking soda
Salt as required
Water as required
For the potato masala
2 potatoes (boiled)
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 onion
1 small piece ginger
3 green chilies
Curry leaves
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
Salt as required


Take the wheat powder, semolina, rice flour, yoghurt, oil, salt and water in a bowl
Mix well into batter
Keep the batter aside for half an hour
Add the baking soda and mix well
Grease a dosa pan
Pour a ladle full of batter
Make crispy dosa as usual
Meanwhile, heat oil in another pan
Splutter the mustard seeds
Saute onion, ginger, green chilies and curry leaves
Add turmeric powder and salt
Now add the boiled potatoes
Give everything a good mix
Enjoy the crispy dosa with tasty potato masala.
