Thrimaduram, which is a dish prepared with just three main ingredients, is served in temples during special occasions. It is also served as an offering on Vijayadashami. Ripe kadali bananas, honey and rock candies are the main ingredients in this sweet delight. In some places, jaggery is used instead of honey. Apart from these three ingredients, black raisins can also be added to this dish. Instead of kadali bananas, small yellow bananas can be used. Here is how to make thrimadhuram,

Ingredients
4 kadali bananas
2 tbsp rock candies
3 tbsp honey
Palmful of black raisins

1 tsp ghee

Preparation

Cut the bananas into thin slices.
Into it add crushed rock candies and honey.
Mix well.
Add black raisins and ghee to make it rich.
Keep aside for 10 minutes before serving.
