Crab curries are filled with the goodness of nutrients and vitamins, but relishing it right is often a messy affair. Regardless, its delicious aroma and taste makes one forget it all and dig right into it. If you are looking for a special crab curry to give your Sunday lunch that extra 'spicy yet comfy' feel, give this green chilli crab peralan a try.

Ingredients
1 big crab
Coconut shards as required
10 shallots
1 small piece ginger
6 garlic cloves
10 green chilies
2 sprigs curry leaves
3 dried chilies
1 lemon
4 tbsp coconut oil
¼ tsp mustard seeds
¼ tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
Salt as required
¼ tsp fenugreek
1 cup coconut

Preparation
Heat oil in a pan
Splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek
Roast curry leaves and coconut shards
Into it add shallots, ginger and garlic
Sauté well
Now add green chili paste, turmeric powder and coriander powder
Sauté until the raw smell is gone
Add the cleaned crabs
Mix well and cook with the lid on
When the crab is almost cooked, add the coconut milk
Add lemon juice
Finally, sprinkle some fresh coconut oil
Give everything a good mix
Green chili crab peralan is ready!
