Not everyone is a fan of crispy thin dosas. For those who love the thick variety of the popular breakfast dish, the fluffy bun dosa can be an interesting choice. It tastes amazing both with accompaniments or without them, and is often a crowd pleaser too. You might just wonder while eating, is it a bun as tasty as dosa or vice versa?

Ingredients
2 cups raw rice
¾ cup grated coconut
1 tbsp fenugreek
½ cup flattened rice (soaked for ten minutes)
Salt as required
1 tsp sugar
Oil as required

Preparation
Wash the raw rice and soak for three hours
Grind the soaked raw rice along with fenugreek, grated coconut, flattened rice and some water into a thin batter
Add sugar and salt
Mix well
Keep the batter aside for at least 8 hours for it to rise
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a kadai
Pour a ladle full of batter
Close the lid and cook
Flip and cook both sides
Enjoy the soft bun dosa.
