Drumsticks and dried mango cooked in a rich coconut gravy can be a perfect, traditional side dish for your lunch. Drying tender mangoes under the sun is the first step towards making this dish.

If you already have sun-dried mangoes made at home or bought from stores, the dish can be prepared easily. Roast some chillies, salt, asafoetida powder, fenugreek powder and chilli powder in hot oil.

Mix this with the dried mangoes to easily prepare the pickle that can be stored in air tight containers for years. Now, here is the recipe of drum stick – dried mango curry.

Ingredients

Add this mixture into the drumstick
Allow the gravy to cook well
Add curry leaves too
Turn off the flame, when the water reduces and the curry turns thicker
