Balancing taste and health in desserts is no cakewalk. However, if you like to make ingredients from scratch at home, your desserts or snack bars can become worry-free munchies. You can make a tasty barfi filled with protein at home and it can also be packed while travelling to satiate the sudden hunger pangs. Here is the recipe.

200 gms peanuts
200 gms peanut butter
50 gms caramel sauce
100 gms melted milk chocolate

Light roast the peanuts (without skin)
Crumble it into a coarse powder
Take crumbled peanuts, peanut butter, caramel sauce and melted milk chocolate in a bowl
Mix well
Transfer this mixture into a cake tin lined with butter paper
Spread the mixture evenly
Keep it in the fridge for at least an hour to set
Cut the barfi into desired shapes.
