Oil and butter free papaya cake: Try for this Christmas

Rich in antioxidants and minerals, papaya offers several health benefits such as boosting our immunity. A number of lip-smacking delicacies could be prepared from ripe papaya and cake is one among them. We will check out the recipe for a healthy papaya cake baked without butter or oil. 

Ingredients
1 ¾ cups of refined flour (maida)
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Five eggs
½ cup powdered sugar
One teaspoon of vanilla essence
½ cup papaya pulp
¼ cup water
¼ cup milk
Adequate tutti frutti

Preparation
Take a vessel and sieve the refined flour, baking powder and salt into it
Keep it aside
In another vessel, beat the eggs thoroughly by gently adding the powdered sugar
Add the essence and mix
Keep this vessel aside
Take the papaya pulp in a third pan and mix thoroughly with water and milk
Add the dry ingredients in the first vessel to the papaya pulp and blend properly
Carefully pour this mixture into the vessel in which the beaten eggs are kept
Mix well
Spread butter paper on an eight-inch cake tin and transfer the cake batter into it
Add tutti frutti to the batter and make a few markings over it with a skewer
Gently strike the cake tin on a hard surface such as the kitchen countertop, two or three times
Bake the batter in an oven preheated to 170 degrees Centigrade for 45 minutes
Remove the tin from the oven and slice the cake when it cools to room temperature
The delicious papaya cake is ready to serve
