Danish chocolate pastry

Danish chocolate is an amazing sweet treat with the goodness of gooey melted chocolate inside soft and fluffy puff pastry. This is the perfect dessert to end an amazing dinner party. Check out the recipe of rich and delicious Danish chocolate.  

Ingredients
¼ kg all purpose flour
60 ml water
60 ml milk
5 tsp sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tsp dry yeast
2 tbsp unsalted butter
A 125 gm block of cold unsalted butter
50 gm chocolate bar
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp sugar
Water as required

Preparation
Into a big bowl add the all purpose flour, water, milk, sugar, salt, dry yeast and unsalted butter
Mix well into dough and transfer it into a clean bowl. Cover the dough and keep it aside for at least an hour
Roll the dough using a rolling pin. Place the butter block in the centre and fold it from both the sides to the inside
It will now have three layers. Keep it in the freezer for at least three hours
Roll the dough again into a sheet and cut it into square pieces of 7 inches
Place a chocolate bar in the centre of each piece and fold it in half
Keep aside for at least two hours for it to rise
Beat the egg with water and sugar
Give the dough pieces a good egg wash and pop in the pre heated oven 
Bake for 12 minutes in the pre-heated oven of 200°C
Drizzle chocolate sauce over the dish before serving it.
