Kalavoor: The illegal parking in front of the Home Co in Pathirappally is causing trouble to pedestrians and drivers of small vehicles. Long rows of two wheelers are always seen parked on the sides of the service road near Home Co. Vehicles including lorries and buses run on the service road in great speed. So, two-wheeler parking by encroaching the pedestrian walkway increases the risk of motor accidents. Most of these vehicles belong to the employees at Home Co. The small vehicles that approach the main road from the nearby pocket roads too struggle due to illegal parking on the road side. 

The panchayat road lies a bit low from the level of the service road. So, the vehicles that come from this road struggle due to the parking by encroaching the walkway. Pedestrians and local residents say that authorities continue their apathy despite complaining multiple times.
