It's a wellness programme blended with luxury and a tinge of spirituality. Named 'Atmiyam 2022', the three-day event from May 27 to 29 is being held at the 5-star Ayurvedic resort, Niraamaya Surya Samudra in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram.
The programme is said to be tailored to realign one's mind, body, heart and soul and to revive the participants back to their full potential after reeling through a slew of setbacks in recent times, including the pandemic.
With its traditional Keralite heritage cottages that nestle in the shade of breezy coconut palms, the venue is a spiritual paradise that will take one a step closer to rejuvenation.
Atmiyam 2022 focuses on meditative and healing processes, flow & movement-based workshops, along with thoroughly curated immersive & transformative experiences. Besides, the cacao ceremony at the experience centre will be a stand out attraction.
The facilitators for this edition include Ashdin Doctor, a Youtuber and the founder of Awesome180, a habit coaching program; Aishwarya Dattani, a mental health expert; Meher Malik, a renowned belly dancer and founder of the Chakraqs Research & Healing; Pooja Gautam, a certified Watsu (Water Shiatsu) practitioner and Aqua Yoga instructor; Faraz Pallipat, fitness expert, Richa Mourya, a content creator who has been working in the space of healing and personal transformation; Sessi Gianoglio, an Italian hula hooping enthusiast who specialises in Flow Arts; Bhumi & Dijo, engaged in mental health and Nancy Rustagi, group fitness instructor.
The event will also host an eco-flea that will bring together many sustainable brands, providing them with a platform to showcase their products. Atmiyam 2022 held in association with Lexus has attracted interest from many major brands like Heael, The Fruik, Ecofemme & Wholetruth foods, who will partner with them as sponsors for this edition. The previous edition of Atmiyam was held at Niraamaya Retreats, Athirapilly in November 2021. The event is curated and organised by Cherish Expeditions.
The cacao ceremony offered at the experience centre is a communal gathering of participants sitting in what's known as the sacred circle and consuming a potion made out of cacao (chocolate in its purest form). There is music and a lot of dancing involved to uplift the mood of participants and give them a sense of warmth.
With curated experiences, a community of like-minded individuals, art, games, the beach and a beach party, Atmiyam 2022 is expected to provide one with a weekend beyond imagination.
