COVID-19 positive students will be allowed to write KTU exams

Thiruvananthapuram: Students, who test positive for COVID-19, will also be allowed to write the Kerala Technological University (KTU)'s BTech supplementary exams. Special arrangements have been made for such students, Vice-Chancellor Dr M S Rajasree has said.

A student from the Andaman and Nicobar islands had tested positive after reaching Thrissur. The principal has been instructed to make arrangements for this student.

"The university has not received information about any other COVID positive student appearing for the exams,” she added.

It was earlier decided that an online exam will be scheduled to be conducted based on the question papers prepared by the colleges. Students can write exams from their homes.

The Kerala Technological University is formally known as the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
