Thiruvananthapuram: The work-from-home system introduced in government offices and private establishments during the third Covid-19 wave has been stopped forthwith.

Henceforth, all employees should be present in their respective offices and private establishments.

The order regarding the same took effect from Wednesday.

Work-from-home facility was granted to pregnant women, differently abled and physically ailing persons due to the spike in Covid-19 cases during the third wave.

Kerala recorded 12,223 fresh infections on Wednesday raising the total caseload to 64,40,371. As the number of recoveries were more than the new COVID-19 cases, the active cases in the state went down to 1,13,798
