COVID: Kerala logs 847 fresh cases; TPR at 3.73%

Kerala on Friday reported 847 fresh cases of coronavirus and 1,321 recoveries from the infection.

There are 6,464 active cases of COVID-19 in Kerala.

Test Positivity Rate (TPR) on the day was 3.73% after 22,683 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

COVID toll in Kerala reached 67,187 after three recent deaths and 56 previously undocumented fatalities were made official by the health department.

There are 20,756 persons under observation in the state, of whom 20,016 are in home/institutional quarantine and 740 in hospitals.
Of the 1,321 recoveries reported in the state, Ernakulam logged 273, Thrissur, 236 and Kottayam, 175.
