Ammu Sajeev death: Autopsy confirms injuries from fall as cause of death

Pathanamthitta: The autopsy report of Ammu Sajeev (22), a fourth-year nursing student at SME Nursing College, Chuttippara, confirmed that her death was caused by injuries sustained in a fall. The report stated, "Death was due to injuries to the head, pelvis, and left thigh." Ammu passed away on November 15 while receiving treatment after falling from the top of her hostel building.
Ammu’s family had alleged that she was subjected to mental torture by three of her classmates and a teacher, reportedly over a missing logbook. Police arrested the trio and charged abetment to suicide. The college principal was also transferred in connection with the case.
