Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's convoy was involved in an accident on MC Road on Monday evening. A police jeep rear-ended a commando vehicle at Venjarammoodu. The chief minister was returning to Thiruvananthapuram after attending an event in Kadakkal, Kollam.
This incident follows a similar one in October when the chief minister's convoy was involved in a crash at Vamanapuram. In that case, the pilot vehicle had to suddenly brake to avoid a scooter passenger, leading to a collision involving five vehicles, including the one the CM was travelling in.
