Peruvalloor: Kondadan Koyamon, member of ward three of Peruvalloor panchayat is laying the interlocking blocks on the Kunnuparambu Rural Road by spending money from his own pocket as the panchayat couldn’t take up the road and make it traffic worthy as promised during the election campaign.

Although Koyamon, who won as an independent candidate backed by the LDF, had tried countless times to convert the road as an asset of the panchayat, it never happened. A technical issue was always pointed out as the reason for not including the road among the panchayat’s assets.

However, Koyamon was determined to keep his promise before his tenure ended and laid interlocking bricks by spending money from his own pocket.
